Does Senpai & Co. work with artists using wholesale or consignment?
Senpai & Co. aims to remain flexible and accessible for artists, so we are open to both wholesale and consignment arrangements for in-store displays.
Are prints allowed?
Due to space limitations, Senpai & Co. does not currently carry artist prints as part of our permanent in-store displays. However, artists participating in Pop-Up events are welcome to bring full convention-style setups, including prints.
For pop-ups, do artists choose their own hours?
Artists are free to set their own hours within scheduled pop-up weekends.
Senpai & Co. proposes a certain weekend, and if the weekend works for the artist, they have the table reserved for all three days. The artist then chooses their hours, such as 11-5, in which they will be present and vending.
Are tables/shelving provided?
For Artist Alley pop-up events, Senpai & Co. defaults to provide one 4'x2' table and one stool per artist. An artist is free to bring their own table or chairs if they'd prefer, but we request they notify us beforehand so we can ensure we have the proper space available for them. We do not provide any shelving or display racks for pop-up weekends at this time.
For in-store displays, we work with the artist and the kind of merch we'll be carrying to ensure we create an appropriate display.
What fees are there?
Senpai & Co. does not have any shelf fees, table fees, or application fees. In the event that an artist is dissatisfied with the consignment or wholesale percentages, we will work with them on a case-by-case basis and determine if the numbers should be adjusted--in their favor--with the addition of a small shelf/table fee.
