A legendary assassin lays down his blade—only to discover peace comes with new battles.

In the early Meiji era, wandering swordsman Himura Kenshin roams Japan, vowing never to kill again after his bloody past as the legendary assassin “Hitokiri Battōsai.” Armed with a reverse-blade sword, he protects the innocent while seeking redemption for his sins. Along the way, he finds companionship, clashes with dangerous foes, and faces the shadows of his violent history. A classic blend of samurai action, heartfelt drama, and themes of honor and forgiveness.
