He's a mushroom disguised as a human, hiding from the man whose job is to hunt monsters like him.

The end of the world left humanity hiding behind fortified bases while radiation transformed the creatures outside into strange and dangerous beings. Deep in the wilderness lives Anzhe, a sentient mushroom who takes human form after being nourished by the remains of a dead man. When humans take the spore he treasures above everything else, Anzhe disguises himself as human and ventures into the Northern Base to get it back.

Unfortunately, the Base has one major rule: nonhumans don't get to stay alive. Anzhe's disguise might fool the technology, but it doesn't fool Lu Feng, a merciless Judge whose job is to identify and eliminate dangerous mutants. As Lu Feng's suspicion grows, so does the strange connection between them, turning Anzhe's desperate search into a tense story of survival, identity, humanity, and love in a dying world. Little Mushroom is a danmei/Boys' Love science-fiction romance.
