She needs romance for her novel—so she blackmails the school's most popular boy into giving her some firsthand experience!

Yukina Himuro is a quiet, intimidating middle-school student who secretly writes popular romance novels on her cellphone. When her readers demand more convincing love stories, Yukina realizes she has a problem: she knows absolutely nothing about romance! So when she discovers that popular student Shigure Kitami has a secret of his own, she blackmails him into becoming her unwilling partner in a series of "love missions" designed to give her material for her novels.

But the more missions Yukina assigns, the harder it becomes to separate research from genuine feelings. What starts as a calculated arrangement soon turns into a messy tangle of attraction, jealousy, secrets, and competing romantic interests.
