Two rivals, eighty days, and a whole region of Pokémon adventure!

Ruby and Sapphire couldn't be more different. Ruby dreams of becoming the greatest Pokémon Contest star in Hoenn, while Sapphire would rather battle Pokémon and prove herself as a Trainer. When they meet, they make a bet: each has just eighty days to achieve their dream.

As their journeys keep crossing, the two rivals encounter Gym Leaders, Legendary Pokémon, and the dangerous schemes of Team Magma and Team Aqua. Their competition soon becomes tangled up in a much bigger threat to the Hoenn region, putting both Trainers and their Pokémon to the test.
