As his manga career takes off, Shuzo is forced to confront the family and memories he left behind.

Life seems to be falling into place for Shuzo: he's in college, has a serious girlfriend, and has just won his first manga award. But when his younger brother is diagnosed with a brain tumor, Shuzo is pulled back into the complicated family life he thought he'd left behind.

Part memoir, part intimate coming-of-age story, Sound of a Blink explores family, ambition, guilt, love, and the sacrifices that can come with pursuing a creative dream. Drawing from Shuzo Oshimi's own life, the series offers a raw and deeply personal look at the experiences that shaped him as a manga artist.
