Volume 1 Verdict: Everything for Demon King Evelogia
At first glance, Everything for Demon King Evelogia reads like a standard villain-focused isekai, but it quickly leans into something much more specific. It follows Gozu, who, instead of wanting to be the hero, is determined to make sure the demon king wins.
After dying, he’s transported into the world of a game he loved, where he immediately seeks out the demon king he’s been obsessed with. But in trying to change the story, he ends up shifting the narrative in ways he didn’t quite intend.
First Impressions
This is one of those series where the premise alone tells you exactly what kind of ride you’re in for. It plays with familiar villainess and isekai tropes, but filters them through a very character-driven, BL-focused lens.
The central dynamic is the main draw. There’s a lot of secondhand embarrassment, a lot of intensity, and a very forward kind of emotional (and physical) energy that the story doesn’t try to downplay. It’s bold about what it is, and it sticks to it.
Visually, the art is clean and appealing, which helps balance out how over-the-top the character interactions can get. It’s not trying to reinvent the genre; it’s just leaning fully into its concept.
