At first glance, Galaxias comes across as a classic adventure story, but it immediately stands out for how engaging it is from the start. It pulls you in quickly with a strong foundation and a cast of characters that are easy to like right away.
The story follows Geo, who feels stuck living a quiet, restricted life on her island, until she meets Nereid, a strange dragonfolk traveler passing through on his own journey. When she learns the truth about her potential as an adventurer, she sets out with him to find the legendary explorer Yuri Holst.
First Impressions
This is one of those series that hooks you almost immediately. The art is delightful, the tone is lively, and the characters carry the story in a way that makes it really easy to stay engaged.
Geo and Nereid are especially strong as a pair. They both have fun, distinct personalities, and their interactions give the story a lot of its charm. It feels natural, not forced, and it makes the world feel more alive right from the beginning.
There’s also a sense that this story is building toward something bigger. Even early on, it feels like there’s a solid foundation being set... like this could grow into a much larger, more expansive adventure over time.

I didn’t expect to enjoy Galaxias as much as I did, but it really won me over. It’s fun, engaging, and has a strong enough start that it feels like it could grow into something much bigger.
This is definitely one I’ll be keeping an eye on and recommending early.
